Vocabella is a Shropshire-based all-female a capella choir who sing their own arrangements of well-known songs from folk to pop.  Expect gorgeous close harmony arrangements of Scarborough Fair, Only You, Over the Rainbow, Jolene, Mr Sandman, Fly me to the Moon, and many others.  Since starting as a small group of 4 singers in 2016, Vocabella has grown to 10 singers whose experiences range from Anglican choral tradition to full opera and musical theatre, to performing wih Rock Choir.  They have quickly become a favourite in venues across Shropshire and on radio.

Careless Vespers is a choir specially formed to sing this evening. With singers from Herefordshire and across the UK, Careless Vespers will give a programme of ancient and modern choral music featuring William Byrd's 5-part Mass alongside beautiful works by contemporary composers on the theme of nighttime, including Whitacre's 'Sleep' and Esenwald's 'Stars'.
